Take Up Space
21+ | 7pm Show / 6pm Doors
Take Up Space is a YPOC Lancaster x Ripple Hub collab live community event celebrating BIPOC artistry, creativity, and connection. The night will feature four artists taking the stage with live performances that blend sound, story, and creative expression. Experience the lyrical hip-hop of Jon Bolds, the soulful storytelling of LASSAI, the moody pop of PINK i, and the creative moves of Urban Soul Family. After the performances, we’ll continue the night with a dance party led by DJ 2real. If you’ve been looking for a space that sees you, holds you, and hypes you up—this is it. Come take up space with us.
Jon Bolds is a lyrically driven hip hop artist hailing from North Philadelphia, known for his potent storytelling, magnetic energy, and unwavering authenticity. With every verse, Jon brings a message that’s both thought-provoking and rooted in his deep faith in Jesus—never shying away from truth, hope, and conviction.
LASSAI is a music artist who blends hip hop, soul, and bold storytelling to celebrate identity, self-love, and unstoppable women. With a sound that’s both empowering and fun she inspires listeners to own their journey with confidence and heart.
PINK i (Ian Sanchez-Herasme) is a Dominican-American, queer non-binary artist making moody pop and alt hip-hop jams for summer drives, energetic mornings, and nights that go off the rails. Born in Santo Domingo and raised in Lancaster, PA, PINK i blends theater-kid precision with Top 40 instincts, creating songs that flirt between catchy and cathartic.
Urban Soul Family is a b-boy dance crew and creative collective based in Lancaster, PA. Established in 2011, they are deeply rooted in the tradition of hip-hop. Centered around family, community, art, and leadership, their work extends far beyond the stage. Guided by the mantra “Each One Teach One,” they actively mentor the next generation and preserve hip-hop’s legacy through education and intentional connection.
