Dillweed
Dillweed is the Lancaster PA-based acoustic trio known for its unique blend of reinterpreted traditional & old time music, lively and offbeat originals, daring & occasionally successful crossovers. Disclaimed and disavowed by purists of every folk subgenre, Dillweed has built a vast, countywide following of groupies known as “Dillbillies.” With the popularity of such originals as the pandemic anthem “Oh! Corona!,” “Squirrel Heads & Gravy,” that one about the cat, and “My Heart is Like Roadkill,” Dillweed actually guarantees that a certain number of attendees (3) will have the times of their lives!
Dillweed is comprised of Red (Kim Weit) on upright, doghouse bass, & vocals, E.W. (Eric Weit) on clawhammer banjo, banjo uke & an accordion-like thingy, and vocals, and Mr. Boney Fingers (Formerly Blind Boy Boney Fingers) on 5-string bluegrass banjo and vocals.
