About The People’s Shakespeare Project:
The People’s Shakespeare Project, a non-profit organization founded in 2006, is committed to help foster a love of Shakespeare through performance and performance-based instruction. We believe that the beauty of his language and his genius in creating a world of characters true to our own flawed selves cannot help but enable us to develop a deeper understanding and compassion for those around us. The world sorely needs this. The world needs Shakespeare.

Summer 2014 marks our eighth season offering free outdoor Shakespeare to our community and our seventh season offering middle school students the chance to be Shakesperian actors in Camp Will. Now that we are partnering with Millersville University’s Winter & Ware Centers, we are able to extend our performance schedule plus offer two sessions of Camp Will – one at The Rafters Theatre on Millersville University’s campus and one at The Ware Center in downtown Lancaster. Please visit our website at: www.peoplesshakespeareproject.org for more information.

And stay tuned for Camp Will 2014 (June 16-27 and July 8-25) and our mainstage production of TAMING OF THE SHREW, June 19-29 at The Swan Pond, Millersville University.
