Pot Luck Supper with the Irish!

The Irish are coming, the Irish are coming! And we’re going to feed them!

A group of 49 folks are coming to Lancaster from Ireland this month as the award winning Kilmeen Drama Group is traveling here for two performances of Playboy of the Western World at the Ware Center. (You can get your tickets for one of those performances now!)

Tellus360 has organized the trip and is sponsoring the performances. As they travel across the ocean and join us here, we want to make sure we give them a good ol’ Lancaster County welcome in the form of a potluck supper, featuring some of your favorite Pennsylvania Dutch and Lancaster County cuisine. We want our Irish kin to feel welcome, and we know you’re up to the task. You can read more about this trip as Joe Devoy tells the story.

Join us on October 27 and bring your favorite dish (enough to feed 6), and we’ll gather around tables, share food and drink, swap stories, and make lots of new friends.

We’ll also have entertainment, including music from our friends Andy Mowatt, Corty Byron, and Dave Pedrick.

Plus, there will be some performances from the Kilmeen Drama Group and other entertainment.

So head on over to our Facebook event and RSVP and let us know what dish you’ll be bringing.

Join us for this great community event, celebrating our community, their community, and the community we are creating together!
