Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
YWCA Lancaster is hosting Walk A Mile In Her Shoes on September 18 at 6 p.m. in downtown Lancaster to benefit its Sexual Assault Prevention & Counseling Center (SAPCC).
SAPCC provides professional trauma based counseling, medical and legal advocacy, and a 24-hour sexual assault hotline for victim survivors of sexual assault and their family members. All services are provided at no cost!
The walk will begin in Penn Square and will weave down W. King to Prince (make a right), Prince to Lemon (make a right), Lemon to Queen (make another right) and walk straight (at least try to!) back to Penn Square.
Who can register?
Men, ages 16 and older, are encouraged to register for the YWCA Lancaster Walk A Mile In Her Shoes to raise money on behalf of victim survivors of sexual assault — women, men and children.
YWCA Lancaster Walk A Mile In Her Shoes will be held on Friday, Sept. 18. Pre-party at Tellus 360 4 to 5:50 p.m., walk kicks off at 6 p.m. in Penn Square. After party immediately after the walk.
