Tuck Ryan Band

Tuck Ryan’s sounds can best be described as Mountain Soul. His smooth New Orleans style vocals and piano playing are backed by a tight rhythm section that is influenced by many of the founding fathers of Americana and soul. If there is one thing you can say about Tuck’s music its that he’s authentic. From behind the piano he gives the audience all he’s got –transforming his songs into the soundtrack of the evening. The Tuck Ryan Band is rounded out by Andy Mowatt, of Andy Mowatt’s Steely Jam, on 8-string guitar, Matt Hostetter on vocals and lead guitar, and Jabin Baxter on the drums. Tuck, Matt, Andy & Jabin all began playing together following the disillusion of Tuck and Matt’s old band Limbo Jimbo. Following a few one-off shows promoting Tuck’s new solo work, the guys decided to band together and dig into the new material as one bluesy, soul-drenched outfit.

Mark Derose & The Dreadnought Brigade

Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought Brigade is a rootsy, soulful, rock ‘n roll band from Lancaster, PA featuring Mark DeRose (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Jason Mundok (bass, guitar, vocals), and Aaron Gagne (drums, vocals). The band brings high-energy performances of DeRose’s upbeat, feel good music to stages across the tri-state region, but they’re happy to leave the amps at home and bring the same positive energy to acoustic settings, listening rooms, and house concerts. For fans of Van Morrison, Counting Crows, and The Band.

Patrick Kirchner of The Fly describes this engaging music as “thoughtful and provocative, laden with metaphors of hope and celebration for life – the stuff that makes feel good music feel so good”.
