Tröegs Goes to Ireland Night feat. Colebrook Road
Kicking off the Road to St. Paddy’s Day with a night of Tröegs beer and bluegrass music!
March 11, 2014 · 7:00pm
We’re kicking off our Road to St. Paddy’s Day Week with a beer and music event like none other!
Tröegs Brewery is unleashing new beers this year, so we’re hosting a special night to celebrate their fantastic brews — and put a little Irish twist on them, of course!
We’ll have a variety of Tröegs flagship beers on draft – maybe even a Scratch brew or two!
In addition, we’ll be featuring two of our favorite O’Tröegs concoctions:
- The Mad Leprechaun – A half and half featuring Guinness layered atop Mad Elf!
- The Pot O’ Gold – A half and half featuring Guinness atop Nugget Nectar!
Tröegs reps will be on hand with some merch and to chat about the new beers they will be unrolling in 2014. We’ll have some great live music from Colebrook Road as well, which features Tröegs brewer Jeff Campbell on bass!
Drive through central Pennsylvania’s countryside and you’re bound to end up crossing one of the many thoroughfares called Colebrook Road. Take a listen to the sound of hard-driving original bluegrass and you’ll find a band that shares the same name comprised of members from vast musical backgrounds. The band started as a bunch of guys living in the Harrisburg, PA area connected by a love of acoustic music. Since then, the group has changed and expanded through many shows across the mid-atlantic region and the release of its first full length studio album featuring 10 original songs. With a sound that combines traditional straight-drive bluegrass with modern tonalities, technical playing, tight vocal harmonies, and a unique voice based on large amounts of original composition, Colebrook Road brings interest and excitement to their music and their audience.
