Tellus Jokes: Big Apple Comedy in the Heart of Lancaster. Comedian Rubi Nicholas delivers the best comedy to Lancaster every month.

This month’s show features the comedy of Shane Gillis and Sam Mushman.

Shane Gillis

Shane Gillis is a hilarious Central Pennsylvania native and stand-up comic who recently moved to Philadelphia and performs all over the Eastern United States. In 2014 Shane was named Baltimore’s Comedian of the Year. He performs regularly at some of the country’s best comedy clubs including Philly’s Helium Comedy Club, Baltimore’s Magooby’s Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, the Harrisburg Comedy Zone, Lancaster Stitches, Coconuts in St. Petersburg, and more where he has opened for A-list comedians such as Louie Anderson, Joe DeRosa, and Carlos Mencia. Shane is one of Pennsylvania’s most impressive rising stars in the comedy business. He also has never lost a fight.

Sam Mushman

Sam Mushman is a ex-college basketball player turned stand up comedian who has played shows all over the Northeast.
He performed in the Free Stand Up Festival which was featured on Timeout NY, as well as Make Me Laugh Festival of St. Louis, Finger Lakes Festival, and will be in this year’s Jersey City Festival.
He was also featured on ZenLive TV and the “Something’s Off” College Comedy Tour, which was highlighted in the Hudson Reporter. Sam is quickly becoming one of NJ’s fastest rising comedy stars, and can be seen regularly at Stand Up NY comedy club, and The Village Lantern.
Still deadly from beyond the arc, its in your best interest not to get stuck guarding Sam in the same washed up mens basketball league. He loves to teach defenders the true meaning of “Hand down, Man down”
