The Separators

The Separators are an alternative rock band out of the Philadelphia area. With influences from bands such as The Strokes, The Separators continue to evolve their sound by writing new music and playing live shows. The Separators originally formed in 2013, playing as high school friends, but became an official band in 2014. Consisting of Colin Bradford Deery (Vox, Bass), Alex Abel (Guitar, Vox), and Matt Abel (Drums) originally; they have recently added a second guitarist, Ben Zanowski. With new music being written every day, The Separators are currently preparing for their next release.

Androgynous Jesus

Emerging from the primordial ooze of the north Philly wasteland, Androgynous Jesus rose as a phoenix reborn, a dragon spewing fire and smoke as a pack of hellhounds darted across the barren wasteland. An urge to express feelings of desire, addiction and hunger expanded to become a sonic force of tender sensuality and overpowering majesty.

As Sami Rahman beats the drums into submission, Matt Hurley’s bass finds the space between the notes and Wallace Gerdy’s guitar locks in between the force of Will Williams manic chords and deranged dynamic vocals. It’s time to face the music, and the hour has come for your soul to burn with desire in the presence of Androgynous Jesus.
