On July 31, 2013, Rich Lucchese set out on a six-month campaign to run 1,050 miles in an effort to raise money for TAK(E) CHARGE, a fundraising organization whose sole purpose is to support Church World Service‘s work with refugees.

The miles are adding up, and the time is winding down. With 130 miles to go, it appears Rich Lucchese will reach 1,050 miles by the deadline of Friday, January 31. So, on Saturday, February 1, we are going to help Rich celebrate his accomplishment (not to mention his 50th birthday!) with a fun reception in our front room!

Rich will cap off the campaign with a six-mile run from Oregon Dairy to Tellus360, and all are invited to make the run. Not ready to go six miles? See suggested meeting locations and times to the right.

The Wrap-Up Run will end with a Wrap-Up Reception at Tellus360. Please join us inside as we bring the Run FAR Campaign to a close, and focus on the ongoing need to help refugees who land in Central PA.

Meet the good folks from CWS. Those who pledged per-mile to the Run FAR Campaign will have an opportunity to make their donation. On-the-spot donations will also be facilitated.

We will hear from: Rich Lucchese; Laura Belte (Assistant Director for Programs at CWS Lancaster), and Kam Cin Mang (Employment Specialist at CWS Lancaster). There will also be music by Kam Cin Mang.

Come hungry! Tellus360 offers a menu of stews and other items to knock off the chill, each made with ingredients sourced in Lancaster County.

This is still time to donate to the cause! Visit www.Unitz1.com for more information.
