PechaKucha Night Lancaster
An evening of great PechaKucha presentations
November 25, 2014 · 7:00pm
PechaKucha is coming to Lancaster! Tellus360 has become the official home of PechaKucha in Lancaster and you can be a part of it!
We’ll start with a mixer/reception in the pub at 6pm, followed by presentations in The Temple.
What is PechaKucha?
PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. That means each presentation is just 6 minutes and 40 seconds in length.
The format was invented by some architects over in Japan as a way of making presentations without too much talking. Eventually, the concept took off and now people are hosting PechaKucha events all over the world. And it’s open to just about anyone to talk about just about anything!
Be a Participant!
We’ll be hosting several of these events throughout the year, and while we are asking certain people to make presentations, we’re also asking for your submissions. What can you present about? Anything! It could be your job, your hobby, smething you’ve learned, your life, or whatever you feel like talking about, with slides, for 6 minutes and 4o seconds!
If you would like to be a participant, contact Bill Speakman at BillS@tellus360.com for more information.
