Live music, delicious food and a hefty serving of community are all on the table at our TableTop Sessions.

This month, join us as we welcome York-based rock-and-Rhodes trio Younger Me and Lancaster singer-songwriter Josh Albright!

As always, we encourage you to prepare a dish or some desserts for our POTLUCK! In honor of the spring season, why not take a crack at some seasonally inspired foods? From strawberries to asparagus, the tastes of the season offer a colorful incentive to put the comfort food recipes aside and whip up something light and healthy. (Don’t worry, we’ll gladly eat those triple-chocolate cookies you’re entire neighborhood raves about, too!) Dips, entrees, soups and desserts are all fair game… Get inspired by some yummy recipes on Pinterest!

And don’t forget — TableTop Sessions are a BYOB event!! Show off your craft beer savvy with a 6-pack of your favorite spring seasonal brew (check here and here for some ideas). Or maybe stop by a local winery and bring a bottle to share? We will have wine glasses and coolers with ice ready and waiting.

An email RSVP is required to attend. After you do that, head on over to the event page on Facebook and leave a comment with what you’ll be bringing to help avoid duplicates (and so we can make sure the proper plates, bowls, spoons, forks and sporks are all on-hand).

Best part of it all is that you get to see the best upcoming talent the region has to offer – FOR FREE! In keeping with the community mindset, all of our musicians agree to play for tips, so please bring cash donations for our musicians!
Arrive at 7pm, as music starts promptly at 8pm. Seating is limited, so it’s first come/first served!

Now without further ado…. on May 4, we are pleased to welcome to our TableTop:

Younger Me

Since forming a little over a year ago, York trio Younger Me has been hard at work perfecting their unique blend of dancey pop and indie rock. Led by a Fender Rhodes keyboard and rounded out with bass and drums, Younger Me does what many bands today can’t – rocks out without a single guitar on stage. In November, the band released its debut and self-titled record and, in the months since, has hit the road alongside indie darlings Cold Fronts for shows in New York City and Philadelphia and performed at this year’s South By Southwest festival in Austin, TX. Trust us when we tell you, the day is soon coming when you’ll be bragging to your friends about how you saw Younger Me at their Tellus360 debut.

Josh Albright

A Lancaster native, singer-songwriter Josh Albright cut his teeth while living in New York City. During that time, he frequented venerable clubs and listening rooms like The Bitter End (that place in the Village that Bob Dylan and Jackson Browne played all the time) and Sullivan Hall. Upon moving back to Lancaster, Josh formed the Josh Albright Band, taking his heartfelt acoustic guitar- and piano-driven songs to a whole new level. Last year, Josh completed his debut album, Rome, which showcases his adept lyrics and raspy voice like never before. This month, we are excited to feature Josh for a stripped-down, acoustic performance – the perfect setting for his pensive lyrics to take root in your heart.
