The Bluegrass Situation Stage (in The Temple) – 2:30-4:30pm

As their first official event of 2015, the BGS Stage at Lancaster Roots and Blues brings Town Mountain, Liz Longley, The Black Lillies, and the Steep Canyon Rangers to perform at Tellus 360 on February 7 for a rollicking roots showcase.

The brainchild of Ed Helms and Amy Reitnouer, The Bluegrass Situation brings together southern California music blog BluegrassLA and Helms’ annual LA Bluegrass Situation festival. The brand has expanded to host both New York and Nashville based pages, and has become the online hub for urban bluegrass, roots, and Americana fans across the country. They host an annual bluegrass festival in Los Angeles and have become a presence at major folk, roots and bluegrass festivals across the country with their BGS Presents Stages. Bonnaroo, Newport, SXSW and now Lancaster, PA welcomes “The Sitch.”
