Lancaster Peace Fest: Peace is Practical is a celebration of peace, justice, and nonviolence and all those who are working for a more peaceful and just world. It’s a free, family-friendly community event from the Peace Action Network of Lancaster and sponsored by Tellus360.
Music: Corty Byron, Big Boy Brass Band, Music for Everyone
Local and nationally known speakers: John Dear, Jacquetta Hunter, Kevin Martin, and more…
Information fair featuring local peacemakers, including: Church World Services, 1040 for Peace, the School District of Lancaster, Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County, Advoz, Elizabethtown College Center for Global Understanding & Peacemaking, Legacies of War, Alternatives to Violence, Citizens Immigration & Refugee Action Committee, the Council of Churches, Have a Heart for Persons in the Criminal Justice System, and many more local organizations and churches.
There will be activities for children, interactive exhibits, and food trucks!
