Lancaster Improv Players

Founded in 2015, Lancaster Improv Players (LIP) has performed in Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Reading, State College and Lebanon, PA. The troupe has also recently had a successful performance at the 2016 Pittsburgh Comedy Festival which was described as “a true delight,” “amazingly weird” and “hilarious.” LIP is nonprofit, working with local college and high school improv troupes to improve their game and the troupe has also done workshops for kids! LIP performs an entertaining mix of long and short-form, crafting an unforgettable experience for the audience!

Nonprofit and Local, Lancaster Improv Players offers improv shows, classes and workshops in Central PA. Whether you check out a show or you take a class – you’ll have a great time! Because of our partnership with Creative Works of Lancaster, you can support LIP’s efforts to provide classes and workshops to school and college students and provide workshops for fellow nonprofits!
