Lancaster Fall ArtWalk

artwalk

We’re glad to be a part of this year’s Lancaster ArtWalk and we will also be hosting the Lancaster Made Arts Market on Saturday, October 3 from 10am to 3pm.

We have three exhibits for this year’s ArtWalk.

In The Temple we have the work of Michael Tymon. Michael creates drawings, paintings and sculptures.
He received a BFA, illustration, from Rhode Island School of Design, in 2008. Michael draws inspiration from the order and beauty of nature.  Some of Michael’s favorite art movements include the Italian Renaissance,
the Dutch Baroque and French Realism.

In the second floor lounge we have the exhibit from Velocity featuring the work of many Lancaster artists.

Additionally, we’ll have a series of scrolls from Lancaster artist Mimi Shapiro. Mimi says, “After going to the Metropolitan Museum in NYC, I saw a terrific show on Japanese art and was enamored by the scrolls. Scrolls are one continuous thing – but my interpretation is nothing like those I saw. I created a series of 4 – each one 11″ high by 60″ long – they are very fun!”

Join us for this celebration of local art!
