FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Attendees must be 21+ with a valid ID.
Can I bring my kids who are not 21 even if they stay with me all day?
No, sadly. Our liquor license requires that all attendees are 21+ with a valid ID.
Are tickets available at the gate or on the day of the event?
No – ticket sales end at midnight on Saturday, March 18. No tickets will be sold after that time.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
If you live downtown – walk! If you must drive, check the Lancaster Parking Authority for parking garages. Also consider calling a cab or Uber! Also, please note that the zero block of East King Street will be closed for traffic from 8:00am-8:30pm.
What about overnight options?
This time around, the good folks at The Hotel Lancaster have a block of rooms set aside at a special discount rate of $99.00 for Sunday night only (March 19, 2017). This is an exclusive offer for any guest attending this year’s King Street Seisiún. Make your reservations any time prior to the event by calling (717) 394-0900 and ask to book a room under the block name “King Street Seisiún.”
How do I buy drinks and food at the event?
As in years past, we will use a token system as the official King Street Seisiún currency. You can buy tokens at the event from a number of stations around the grounds. But don’t forget to bring some cash, too… Your bartenders for the day are representatives of our beneficiary nonprofits, and they will keep all the cash tips they receive as donations for their organizations. Checks work, too!
Is the King Street Seisiún a rain or shine event?
YES, King Street Seisiún is rain or shine. We promise.
Can I return to the King Street Seisiún if I leave to go into Annie Bailey’s or Tellus360?
Yes. You must finish any beverages before you leave the King Street Seisiún, however. Same goes for the pubs.
