Jeff Thomas’ All-Volunteer Army

AVA group shot

JEFF THOMAS’ ALL-VOLUNTEER ARMY is a mighty stampede of rock-and-roll now taking center stage in the righteous battle for today’s pop music. With Jeff on piano his legendary ALL-VOLUNTEER ARMY wields a killer horn section, percussion, bass, lead guitar, and thunder drums. ALL-VOLUNTEER ARMY shows are literally a blast; they explode with high- energy FUN! And if you’re lucky you’ll be hit with a smoking piece of charred piano and saxophone shrapnel. Formed in 2013 Jeff Thomas’ All-Volunteer Army has quickly become a favorite headlining act at festivals and rooms throughout the North East. Their last stop in Lancaster was back in February for the Roots and Blues Festival. Jeff was a staple of the Chameleon Club in the 1990’s with bands like The Frogs and Mightyhead. Rich Ruoff signed him to his Lizard Records label in 1997 and they went on to sell over 10 million records worldwide. (this number might be slightly inflated.) But nonetheless, Jeff loves playing in Lancaster and promises to kick your ass (musically, of course!)
