The Lancaster community channeled its inner-Jackson Pollock last year as we launched, dripped, dribbled and swirled gallons and gallons of paint across a dozen large, blank canvases. After hearing how much fun everyone had – from infants to grandparents, we really mean everyone! – we knew we had to do it all again.

But simply recreating last year’s event wasn’t good enough – we needed to up the ante. So on Saturday, May 4, as part of downtown Lancaster’s Spring ArtWalk weekend, we are excited to invite you to come on out and experience …

Jackson Pollock Experience 2.0

New this year, we have a variety of wooden wall hangings available for you to purchase, paint and personalize individually or as a small group. The sizes range from 24″ x 24″ up to 53″ x 53″ and are priced starting at $30. This way, families can work together and create a piece for the mantle; teachers and students can collaborate on some new artwork for the classroom; office teams can spruce up the conference room; college students can decompress after finals; etc. Whether it’s stress relief therapy or unbridled creativity you’re after, we promise that flinging around some paint is sure to do the trick.

Not interested in taking something home with you? Not to worry – we will also have 13 large canvases and 3 electric guitars (yes, electric guitars!) that will be open for the entire community to paint for free.

And just so you know – all proceeds raised from the Jackson Pollock Experience are reinvested into continued community arts exhibitions and events here at Tellus360 and Gallery360 for the rest of 2013!

RSVP on the Facebook event page and watch there for any updates!

Huge thanks to Two Dudes Painting Company and Chetroy Productions for all your help making this event possible!
