Pittsburgh artist Kelly Blevins will be the first artist in Gallery360 to display a body of contemporary drawings. Kelly’s portraits and figure drawings have been exhibited regionally as well as internationally, they use technical and classical drawing skills to explore the artist’s conscious, the human condition, and the line between beauty and fear in the eyes of humanity. The artist took original inspiration for this new work from sources such as prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, and the desolateness of each drawing is isolated in light and space like a statue frozen in time.

So make sure to stop by for the opening reception of this new and exciting exhibition at Gallery360 (located at the back of Tellus360) on Friday, August 3rd, 6pm.
