Animal House Shows presents a night of indie rock!
Consumer
Consumer smashes the bells and whistles decorating today’s average modern hardcore/metal outfit, approaching heavy music with an honesty and urgency both rare and fortifying. A Lancaster, PA based band, Consumer’s abrasive down-tempo sound integrates effects-laden, atmospheric guitar work, guttural vocals, and relentless aggression together to form a unique and artistic form of hardcore.. With a sound that exhibits several eras of musical influence, Consumer will appeal to fans of bands such as Converge, Norma Jean, Neurosis, and Modern Life is War. The upcoming Consumer EP is a testament to heavy music still incorruptible by the constant pressures of unsteady musical trends, a definitive statement about the nature of both music and our own society as a whole.
Comrades
Our band has always been influenced by our faith, Something we all feel strongly about is trying to reconcile the differences of well-intentioned people on both sides of that fence, and simply trying to be the example our faith has taught us to be. We hope that we can be a light, and give encouragement, hope, and provoke thought, no matter what your worldview or affiliation.
