Concert for Joe DiSanto

A Note from Leo DiSanto about this show:

Dear Lancaster, PA

I know I also speak for my brother, Nick DiSanto, when I say that we feel blessed to be artists working in the kind, creative, supportive community that has bloomed so vibrantly and vivaciously in our town. It’s in this spirit that we humbly ask for helping hands. Our father is currently making a hard but promising recovery from debilitating medical problems in a Lancaster rehab hospital. Bringing him home requires numerous expensive renovations and installations, so we’re throwing a kickass benefit concert with the help of some awesome, talented friends on Sunday January 18. Our good friends at Tellus360 have generously agreed to host us.

Admission will be “give what you can;” no donation is too small (or too large, as long as we don’t have to do anything weird for it). The show will include music by the Brothers DiSanto and their friends, featuring some of the finest players Lancaster has to offer (details TBA), as well as a raffle and silent auction courtesy of gracious donations from various artists, tradespeople, concert promoters, and other kind-hearted folks from our community and beyond. I hope you’ll join us for what will be a wonderful, funderful evening and pitch in what you can to help out the guy who tended the wild, weird gardens of our imaginations and filled the first floor of our house with autumn leaves so he could throw a couple laughing little kids into them. Creative suggestions welcome. We have total faith in you, our Lancaster family, so thank you in advance. -The Family DiSanto.
