Join us once again for a wonderful night of local music with KimberLiana and The Vulcans. Don’t forget, it’s a BYOB event (Bring a 6-pack or a bottle of wine to share) with potluck style food. Best part of it all is that you get to see the best upcoming talent that Lancaster has to offer FOR FREE! (donations taken for musicians!) Please arrive at 7pm, as music starts promptly at 8pm.

On August 4th, we are pleased to welcome to the TableTop Session:

KimberLiana

KimberLiana is a singer, songwriter and poet living in Lancaster City, PA. Weaving poetry through melodies both thoughtful and haunting she delivers a soulful dreamy variety of folk rock. She released her first project, Into The White, during the summer of 2008, just in time to fund her first trip to Haiti. During a second trip to Haiti, shortly after the devastating earthquake of 2010, she wrote and recorded DEAR HAITI, a heartfelt response to the disaster. The song includes a choir of Haitian children from an orphanage in Mountrouis, Haiti. The benefit project featuring the single DEAR HAITI was released In April 2011. A full length album is next on the agenda.

The Vulcans

The Vulcans are a three-piece Americana/Folk-rock band from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Disheartened by the overly produced and formulaic music, band members Nick Lindsay, Aaron Spangler, and John Thomas are in search of a more understated and traditional style of music, emphasizing unique harmonies, sincere lyrics, and tight musicality. With instruments ranging from banjo, to mandolin, to melodica, The Vulcans seek to remind their audience of a time and place they once knew. It’s time to come home.
