The ACA Townhall: an open forum on theAffordable Care Act (Obamacare)

Lancaster County Democratic Committee has formed a Rapid Response Team to deal exclusively with the proposed repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), otherwise known as Obamacare.

This team is announcing an Open Forum, to be held on Monday, February 20th at 5:30 pm at Tellus 360, at 24 East King Street, Lancaster. This Forum will feature a panel of local policy experts, who will provide brief presentations on the important features of the ACA and replacement plans proposed by Republican legislators. These experts will also be available to answer your questions and concerns about the ACA and proposed replacements.

In addition, this Forum will allow members of the public, like you, to share their experiences with the ACA and the effect that an ACA repeal would have on their lives. Our elected representatives and other political officials have been invited to attend this Forum to give their positions on the ACA and its possible repeal. Moreover, we hope that they will explain exactly how they plan to ensure the best interests of their constituents when attempting to access healthcare in the future.

Please join us in this Open Forum to understand how the ACA has affected the lives of Lancastrians

and how its repeal might have devastating consequences for them.
