$5 cover at door

Mickel’s another year older, and he’s got a musical gift for you! It’s the 5th annual Mickel B-Day Bash, featuring: Featuring: Mike McMonagle, The Houston Roosters, The Bernhardt Family Band, and Huhn.

This year’s Mickel B-day Bash will be the bashiest of them all. Even bashier than last year’s bashy bash. Mike’s just now over the 30 hill, as he turns 31, and that means it’s all downhill from here.

Mike McMonagle

The first chord Mike McMonagle ever strummed was an E minor. He still plays that very same chord, along with others, to craft an array of ditties ranging from traditional folk and roots-rock-n-roll. Born, raised and currently residing in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he uses his songcraft as a modest attempt at making good on his existence in this world.

(Check out a video from the Sugartank studio session with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame engineer Shelly Yakus [Tom Petty, The Ramones, John Lennon]).

The Houston Roosters

You may be familiar with some of these folks, as the band’s lineup consists of Dominic Billett, Joey McMonagle, Jerry Bernhardt, Kate Bernhardt, Luke Leidy.

The Bernhardt Family Band

Mickel has this to say about this band: My annoyingly talented cousins write annoyingly beautiful music and perform it annoyingly well. Ugh.

These guys… Man. Heavy and heartfelt the way music should be.
