The Benjamin Vo Blues Band has been devoted to preaching the real blues and healing the broken-hearted since 2016. Forging their style from the likes of Peter Green, Lonnie Johnson, and Otis Spann – they play and keep their slow burning blues soulful and organic. Powerful emotional vocals and haunting lead guitar lines marinate their old-school sound laid out by the heavy rhythm section and smokey piano rumble. Their latest two records, 2017’s “Rain On My Window” and 2019’s “Blueberry & Country Sugar” push a unique take on the blues that is both purist and radical at the same time.
