This guest post is from Sarah Zeitler, who recently held her daughter’s birthday party at Tellus360, and did it in style!

Who: My girls and I are new to Lancaster. We recently relocated here so that I could accept my dream job of working at Rock Lititz. So… when my daughter informed me that she would like to have a “Backstage Experience” themed party for her 7th birthday party, I was beyond flattered. It was time to plan a party!

Where: I had recently toured the amazing facility at Tellus360 and knew that they would immediately understand my vision since they put on shows every single day. After a quick meeting with Bill Speakman, along with some help from my co-workers on details such as credentials as well as SUVs for an envoy for the girls’ arrival, we were in business.

What: The idea was for the girls to be treated like “pop stars”. So they arrived in black SUV’s, received ALL ACCESS backstage passes, had wardrobe, make-up and then went straight into choreography.  (Confession: I brought in Broadway’s own Lisa Shriver.) Once the girls rehearsed, there was lunch and cake. Then it was SHOW TIME! Each group of girls performed their number for all of the adults who had been kept out in the restaurant to enjoy brunch. Oh- and a video crew from Opus Films was shooting the entire party. A few days after, each recipient received a link to the final music video showcasing of the entire experience!!!

How: If this sounds overwhelming, it wasn’t because we are so fortunate that several parents agreed to help with the vision. They all dressed in black to play the part of driver, check-in, security, wardrobe, make-up, etc. Even a few of the younger siblings were our “Opening Act”.

Tellus360 made this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible. They handled all of the food, drinks, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, sound, microphones, clean-up, etc. They even provided a team member to hand out cake and ice cream. (We brought in our own cake, which was a replica of the custom backstage credentials that each girl received.) All we had to do was pack up our rock star SUV and go home in style. Tellus handled the rest!

Sarah Zeitler moved to Lititz PA after a significant tenure in New York City. Her role as the Studio Manager of Rock Lititz was the reason for her new address. Sarah loves her two girls, her job, and the good folks that she gets to work with every day as well as discovering Lancaster at large!
