It’s no secret that our region is ripe with not only a wide variety of folk, bluegrass and Americana bands and artists, but also a wide audience that appreciates experiencing what is often called “roots” music. We’ve certainly programmed our fill of it, from touring acts like Shovels and Rope, J.P Harris & Chance McCoy, Spirit Family Reunion and Driftwood to hometown favorites like The Stray Birds, Vinegar Creek Constituency, Vulcans and Slimfit – just to name a few.

Well we’re stepping things up a bit. Starting in May, we’ll be unleashing our newest live music series – Twang Tuesdays!

We know how difficult it can be on the weekend to pick a concert or event to go to, be it local or in neighboring markets. But Tuesdays… Tuesdays are usually wide open! The way we see it – there are seven days to the week and each one is more than capable of playing host to a great night of live music.

Twang Tuesdays will feature the best in bluegrass, folk, Americana, roots & Appalachian music from both regional and touring bands alike. From hard-drivin’ bluegrass to boot-stompin’ honky-tonk, each week’s artist will represent a unique approach to one of America’s most storied and celebrated music styles. Singer-songwriters and duos on up to five- and six-piece outfits, we are confident that your Americana itch will be scratched.

Best of all, every show will be just a $5 ticket, available either online or at the door! Most shows will take place in the front room, so tickets will be limited. We have plans to bring some bigger named acts to town as well, so keep on the look out for new show announcements!

As we kick off the Twang Tuesday series in May, we are excited to welcome our first performers:
