The Farmette is open for lunch!
Looking for a new lunch option downtown?
Meet The Farmette, our brand-new cafe located on our brand-new mezzanine which debuted last week for lunch on Wednesday through Sunday from 11am-3pm. Breakfast was also served on Saturday and Sunday from 9-11am.
Under the culinary direction of Hilary Mace (of The Scarlet Runner, and also the brains behind our monthly Sunday Supper dinner series), The Farmette showcases the freshest tastes from across Lancaster County. How does she do it? Hilary works directly with farmers from across the county to source all of the produce, cheese, meat and bread, with some of the bread even baked right here at Tellus360! You can see a list of some of the farms we’re working with here.
Our goal is to get our local farmers’ products into your belly. Lancaster County is undoubtedly one of the finest areas for farming in the nation – so why not eat what our neighbors are growing?? Season to season, our menu will change to reflect what’s available at the time – from heirloom tomato bisque in the summer to the tastes of harvest in the fall.
And although we’ve focused on lunch and dinner so far, we’ll be unveiling some more dinnery items like flatbreads and entrees in the coming weeks!
Here’s what was on our first-ever menu:
