You have a couple of hours relaxation after yoga before “The Vik Muniz Experience” kicks off at noon. Similar to the Jackson Pollock Experience from a few weeks ago, Tellus 360 will provide the blank canvases and the public will work together to create large scale collages with trash, found objects, dirt, sticks, sand and whatever else we collect. Although materials and tools will be provided, guests are urged to bring their own objects and trash from home to add their own flavor to the art. This family friendly event is open to artists of all backgrounds and ages, runs from 12 noon to 5pm and is 100% FREE.

Following the community arts project comes an unmissable experience for fans of Metallica, Corelli, Led Zeppelin, Beethoven, Coldplay and a mix of all the above. This months Tabletop Session features Philadelphia based “Avalare Strings”, a string quartet whom also plays rock covers! This group will be accompanied by a hand percussionist on the night, and are lining up a set list which will leave guests smiling with excitement listening to orchestral versions of their favorite 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock music.

“Avalare Strings” will be supported by Harrisburg natives “Seasons”. First gracing Tellus 360 with their presence during this year’s LAUNCH music conference, this band of brother and sisters are returning to remind the Lancaster community of what they can do. A feast for the eyes as well as the ears, Seasons are a great excuse to get to downtown Lancaster early this Saturday night.

Tabletop Sessions run on the first Saturday of each month, and run from 7pm until whenever the bands want to go home. These are FREE community events which are open to all ages. Guests are invited to BYOB, and to also bring some potluck style food.
