We recieved the following email by Jan Mindish, Principle at Penn Manor and we look forward to their next visit…

Annie,

We had a very successful day! The weather wasn’t too bad, we only missed 3 students and 1 teacher because of the weather.Fifteen students from McCaskey, Penn Manor and Hempfield, along with four teachers spent two hours at the Museum listening to the stories of six of our photographers. We walked to Tellus360 shortly after noon. Dan and Sarah were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Having lunch at your store was one of the best parts of the day for many of the students. They enjoyed browsing after lunch and probably at least 6 of them bought something. Cassie Shelling was sorry she missed you but she was thrilled with the boiled wool cap she purchased. We’re hoping to schedule a follow-up activity for these students on Saturday, March 17 or 24. I’m hoping you get positive feedback from our visit there on Saturday and would be willing to have us back again. By the way, nice article on Tellus360 in the Progress 2012 magazine in the Sunday paper.

I like the idea of bringing teachers in to teach classes. I will bring this up with the art teachers at our next get together.Attached are several shots of our students enjoying lunch at Tellus360.
