King Street Sesiun guin1The inaugural King Street Seisiún is officially SOLD OUT! See you on Saturday!

Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub and Tellus360 are teaming up with the Mayor’s Office of Special Events to ring in St. Patrick’s Day with an all-things-Irish block party – the King Street Seisiún (“session” in Irish).

The inaugural event is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 from 2-9 p.m. and will take over the zero block of East King Street, including a ticketed area (for 21+ only) spanning from the corner of King and Christian streets and stretching to South Duke Street. The street will be closed for traffic from 2-11 p.m.

In addition to the ticketed area, both Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360 will remain open to the public throughout the day for normal business!!!!

The event will benefit The Junior League of Lancaster, Mayor’s Office of Special Events and Music For Everyone and VisionCorps.

Like any true Irish session, the King Street Seisiún will feature great live entertainment, food and, of course, beer!

Entertainment:

– Live music from The Kilmaine SaintsThe Ogham Stones and Seasons

– Dance performances by the Hooley School of Irish Dance

– Bag pipers

– A special Lancaster-ified version of “Irish Dancing with the Stars” featuring local celebrities

– 92.7 WKZF’s Holly Love serving as emcee

Beer and food:
Attendees will purchase special tokens to use at the Seisiún for your favorite Irish beer & food. You can add some tokens when you checkout (you can add them on the check-out page after you enter your billing info!!!) and they’ll be ready for pickup when you come to the event! Or, you can purchase tokens at the event at designated stations.

Beer – A beer truck will be parked tapping Irish favorites like Guinness Stout and Magners Irish Cider, and a domestic or two from Lancaster Beverage.

Liquor – We’re excited to feature Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Bailey’s Irish Cream.

Food – Annie Bailey’s will serve a variety of Irish dishes, including shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash. Subway will also be open and serving food during the event.
