The Showcase w/ Stephen Patterson featuring Chris Kauffman with Joe Devoy and Late Drunken Nights

Tellus 360 and Music For Everyone are preparing to launch Showcase 2017, season five of the popular singer-songwriter series curated by local songwriter Stephen Patterson.

The 2016 season concluded in October with the sold-out Grand Finale show in which 4 artists from the previous 9 shows each had 15 minutes to convince the audience to give them their vote for Singer-Songwriter of the Year.

On January 18th we will present the first of 9 new headliners who will compete for a spot in the Grand Finale on October 18th. Shows are in The An Sibin at 7:30 PM, 3rd Wednesday of each month.”

Our June featured artist is Chris Kauffman with opener Joe Devoy and Late Drunken Nights.

Chris Kauffman

As lead singer of the indie-rock band, Waiting for Cadence, and formerly the lead in the alternative rock band, Riveredge, Chris Kauffman has quietly been a mainstay in the Northeast music scene for more than a decade. As a solo artist, however, the Lancaster, PA-based songwriter has softly won over fans of acoustic music as well. Between band projects, Chris has recorded two full-length albums, 2006’s self-titled album and 2008’s “Know You” which met with some minor critical acclaim. Chris is especially proud that he recorded and performed every instrument and every note of “Know You” on his own.

Chris’ music ranges from ambient, acoustic sounds all the way to full rock- all on an acoustic guitar. His vocal and songwriting style has been compared to everyone from Beck, to the Gin Blossoms, to David Gray, to Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. Although there may be similarities to other artists, Chris takes pride in being able to connect with audiences through music in his own unique way. His years of performing experience have allowed him to find his own unique voice.

Currently Chris lives in Strasburg, Pa. where he continues to write and record his own music. He is recording an EP for the band, as well as beginning a new solo recording with hopes that it can be released in 2014. He performs with Waiting for Cadence, as well as playing solo shows, however, because he has a young family he now performs mostly in eastern PA and surrounding areas.

Joe Devoy and Late Drunken Nights

A collaboration of sloppy craziness that was conceived in a drunken moment of unprotected shite talking. Jon Reapsome, Milo and Joe Devoy will tickle your somethings with song, poetry and beautiful music opening their hearts and letting you see their souls for a second, for a moment, for an eternity.
