The Reese Project Presents: Live, Original Music to Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis”

metropolis

We will be screening the classic Fritz Lang silent film “Metropolis” on the roof at Tellus360, while The Reese Project will be performing their original score for the film, creating an atmosphere that would have been similar to the theater goer experience from when the film was released in 1927. Join us for this unique event!

Since 1992, Tom & Laurie Reese have accompanied classic silent films together.  Their favorites include Metropolis, Nosferatu, Phantom of the Opera, and more.  Their unique live music performances range from acoustic flutes and cello, to jazz quartet with piano & drums. Structured compositional ideas flow into improvisational lines, following the dynamics of the film.
